Tombfist + Jeweller's Orb
" Perhaps I have wrote badly what's happened or a misread. i had dropped a tombfist long ago, maybe from a boss in the abyss dungeon that i don't remember. i am almost sure that had 1s+2abyssal, so i've seen that mathil used for slayer, then i decided to try a 2s2a failure cause i've got 1s1a, retried with jews, 3s1a... searched on poe.trade BAAAM 150c ripped. bought 2 tombfists 1a, tried and failed on both (perhaps i can't roll 2a with jews, salty) so i didn't got scammed, perhaps i am simply noob and my brain doesn't remember well; but i am almost sure that if i purchase a tombfist with 2a1s i'll fucking avoid to roll something with j to get 2a2s :( |

Ehm, can't tombfist only have 1 abyssal socket?

" Nah, they just mostly drop with 1 only, like the other 2-socketers the 2-socket one is the super-rare one, 1 socket is dirt cheap; poe.trade search for 2socket tombfist: http://poe.trade/search/hakatorihanosa |

The only thing that's supposed to be able to reroll a unique mod is a Divine Orb. If a jeweler's orb did it, it's a bug. But I think we'd have seen many reports if that was the case. I think the item never had 2 abyssal sockets.

" Not even Divines can reroll the amount of Abyssal sockets :) Apparently they're simply coded as two distinct items, as opposed to a variant roll. (makes sense, too; a Divine would easily reroll 1 to 2) |

I can confirmed, Tombfist with 2 abyssal sockets are legit. I got mine from killing Lich boss in Tier 14 map. What is the price as of now? Still 150 C?

Has 2 Abyssal Sockets is a item mod. Item mods cannot be changed with jeweler orbs, nor fusings.
Therefore you cannot remove them with those. Same goes to any other item that has their sockets modified by mods (even if those are hidden - Oni sword is a good example of that). Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. | |
well i was damn wrong seems, sorry my mistake.
