What's the deal with the new Ralakesh boots?
I tried the boots out and I think myself as well as a lot of other people assumed that the "lose charges when you move" might be bypassed by taking on small inconveniences like lightning warp being your only means of movement. THIS DOESNT WORK. I tried warp, flame dash, flicker. All cause you to lose charges.

Yeah it's... underwhelming. Only get one of three Charges every second too, doesn't even ramp all that fast when you do stand still. Cute idea but the implementation feels lacking?

" only good for summoner or as levelling gear while using decoy.. i use it for volatile dead build with minions/totem/golem. make me wonder if slayer is good with it? Perm. Retired from this unforgiving land of the Exiles.

" ...Bonuses based on standing still. We all know that standing still - at least long enough for those boots to give you any charges worth having - will kill you more times that for the charges to give you a noticeable effect. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong here, but we've ruled out and tested charges gained from other sources SPECIFICALLY triggered by losing charges, right? Shot in the dark, probably not, but for the sake of curiosity...

What's really baffling is why GGG is so deadset on mass producing these uniques that are so completely horrible that even if you are playing SSF and luck into them with a build going in the direction the unique appears to be designed to support, you'd still rather just use a random yellow rare because they are just that damn bad. Like, all the artwork and coding that went into making those boots and adding them to the game was 100% completely wasted effort, no one will care, no one will ever care unless they change their stats in a patch, all they will ever ammount to is alc shards. And there are soooooo many uniques in POE just like them in that regard, it seems a lot of energy and effort to spend when they could just be lighting money on fire instead.

I would hope lightning warp removing the charges is a bug -- because that's the only way these boots are even worth talking about.
Otherwise they need to change the charge generation rate significantly. I guess alternatively you could use them to make sure you never have charges for certain items because maintaining 0 charges is super hard (yes, completely tongue in cheek). <--That overpowered onslaught and +3 res(edit).... I always thought the only move worth trying with these boots was to get the charges and then swap them with actual good stats boots, before a boss for exemple, thus getting rid of the "lose all charge while moving" thing, but yeah it sounds super duper clunky...
