depending on what you rolled and what you rolled it on you could make mirror worthy items but it's kind of really really unlikely and probably not worth trying.

corruption removes the implicit so a corrupted Stygian vise would remove the socket same with a leather which would remove the life. As well as enchants so it's basically never worth doing this on a helmet because an enchant would be better 9/10 times.

Shaper and elder items are generally good because you can craft them they have so many mods in their pool that the chance you just happen to roll a good one is really low. So yes if their's no limit to how how often you can try you could buy up a bunch of those rings and just throw them in and hope but it's kinda unlikely you make your money back from buying the bases, since corrupted items remove the implicit.

Apparently some of corruptions doesnt affect the impicit, e.g. changing socket colors. I believe these rules are also applied to corrupting machine as well.
And for some reason people are dreaming about “ez” shaped/elder jewellery but forgot that its gonna be corrupted with random mods. Who needs an elder opal ring with a bunch of low tier mods?

Ok, all very nice, but just WHEN are You Devs going to tell us precisely how things like Arc, Curses etc will change? I don't know the other players, but i'm dying in boredom and i really would like to begin theorycrafting (no fire/traps lover here) ^_^

Pfff more rng... i’m close to done whit this game.

33% - shaper/elder random
1% - two implicit
