Yes, I am one of those. But drawing people away from HC because SC has more opportunities go deeper into the content.

The point in the question is that what is the point having HC league if it isn't anymore in their interest list? It used to have their own rewards and leagues. Then they removed the differences. Now it will have less content. Is it that they are trying to kill HC league so they can remove it?

And HC never had less content to begin with, period, if there is something absurd, it's not the HC leagues here, clearly.

Isn't the whole point of HC to play at a higher risk ?

Of course SC players can delve deeper without the punishment of losing their characters, but that goes for pretty much any dangerous content in the entire game.

The economy argument still stands. "You can make 5 ex an hour by flipping but i won't tell you how" is not an argument.

I believe you're right on some things, OP, but your desired result is wrong. HC should not be deleted -- instead the game should be developed around playing HC and SC would be the mode where players enjoy the content with less stress.

However, it is most disgusting that HC players do not get a benefit or greater reward for enduring the game with no chances to screw up.

poe was hc-oriented on launch and chris was saying how they wanted to kill players and all...

now its sc-oriented so they base it around sc...and obviously hc players are screwed because theres nearly infinite margin of error on sc for new content.

Hardcore league is self-challenge. Having this challenge (or any other challenge) is your own decision. If you need to restrict other players to feel yourself rewarding then you are doing something wrong.

Those who want to play HardCore go ahead and plays HardCore no matter what kind of League it is.
And I just wish them good luck and that is it. Because I´m not gonna even TRY to go HardCore yet. Am not nowhere near good enough to try it yet.
I have played a few months, I know more now then I did back when I started, I DO play a bit better, I do understand some things better, I am more into it now, and everything. But still I have barely scraped the surface of what Path of Exile truly is. I have a lot more to get into.
I have played HardCore on Diablo 2 & 3, on Van Helsing, HardCore on Titan Quest as well, and a few other similar games. But I am certainly not good enough in my opinion to go HardCore on Path of Exile yet.

Personally I think playing HC teaches you a lot more about the game than playing standard. That on its own is a reason to level at least one character in HC above level 85.

I'm guessing its highly frustrating to play during a new league, considering that the league is usually only 3 months long. In particular I don't know how you combine doing all the challenges you want to do and not dying. But I don't really see an alternative to how the game works at the moment.
