Oh, work, work and work again. As usual, I have to adjust my item filter to hide this "garbage booster".
150% more 1 alch unique, Pog.
So you get 150% more alchemy shards from a map? Nice.

This thing only made sense if some uniques, I mean "chase uniques", would only drop in a certain map so you could aim for it.
At the current state I only see a more garbage multiplier here.

Wrong on so many levels...

- elder guardians have their own realm and are not affected by map mods
- Shaper, uber elder, Atziri, uber Atziri all require a 4 piece set in the map device, no space left for scarabs

He is very, VERY correct.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.

No. It is something you put tu your item filter or leave to stay on the ground, untouched. Shaper Strongholds is place, where you don't want to drop uniques at all. You want to drop shaper's rare base with ilvl. as high as possible instead. Same issue with T16 maps with Elder influence. You don't want "Relentless fury" with ilvl. 85, you want elder astral plate or elder steel/opal rings.

This kind of shit "scarabs" are typical "newbtrap". New players will buy it from smarter veterans, because they think, "unique" items are something good in this game, while they are garbage :)

Ha ha ha. Monstrous Treasure is prophecy for "headhunter hunters". This scarabs will "do" only one thing - significantly reduce the possibility of "Doctor" drop. But I'm sure, there will be a lot of newbies who are convinced, "Doctor" is... unique too :P

This thing will be worthless, unless there will be some maps with possibility of some "super uber unique item" drop. Like, for instance, "headhunter, rigwalds quills, some other minimum 5ex worth unique can drop in...Vaal Temple" :P Or if players could turn it on somehow during campaign and first 3 days levelling. Othervise it is garbage.
