"The Brine king" - Stuck

"The Brine king" quest is bugged for me. I am currently stuck on "travel through prisoner's gate to ship graveyard". I did loot the "eye of conquest" and interact with the gate, but after that nothing happend and i cant go through it.
Reseting the zones and trying to kill the quest mob again she does not drop it any more (i have tried that like 5 times). So now i wonder what to do to be able to continue progress in the store.
