So, I just did a Temple of Atzoatl...

So, this is definitely not my first temple, but because I skipped the Incursion League, there's a lot of rooms that I don't know exactly what they do. One of them was the Throne of Atziri...

I mean, I should have guessed by the name (or better yet, read the description more carefully), but it was a true surprise to find Atziri in my temple. Now, that wouldn't be too much of a problem, until the Hurricane Engine decided to spawn a Restorative Tempest, which regenerates life and mana.

That seems good, until you realize that it applies to Atziri too. That, combined with the lower resistances from the corruption chamber gave me a total of 5 deaths before I could defeat her. I never wanted to go to lvl 91 anyway...

Seriously tho, Regening Atziri is something I never want to fight ever again. I actually managed to clean the rest of the temple deathless, albeit with more close call then I would like to admit. Was it worth it? Not really, got nothing good in terms of loot, and only lost exp. But no big deal, it surely was a interesting fight, to say the least.

You should read first, then complain. There is planty of websites with precise description of all rooms. In the temple there are like 3 or 4 rooms really worth effort, rest is pure garbage. Upgrading them is waste of time, unless you want to complete one stupid "challenge". Throne of Atziri is one of most trashy garbage in temple. Whet you get there is "normal" Atziri strong like Uber Atziri, with loot from "normal one". Avoid at all cost.

Depending on the level of the temple, you may run into Uber Atziri.
With regen. And minus max resistances. And attack speed.

Ouch.

I don't mind a normal Atziri with a couple buffs, though.

Wow, relax, I'm not complaining, I'm simply sharing, I'm well aware that it was my own fault for not reading the description and I know I could look up the information online. This is a General Discussion section, not a Complaints section.

I didn't want to look stuff up this league because I wanted to experience for myself first, since I skipped the Incursion League, but I'm not mad at what happened. Sure, I was mad at first for dying 5 times, but I actually don't care. Once I saw atziri and realized she was regenerating life I knew very well the risk I was taking, but since I'm not really trying to go beyond 90 I don't care about the exp loss that much.

Also, why is everything a waste of time? Just because it doesn't have a good return in money or exp? I found it quite amusing to see that particular interaction, otherwise I wouldn't have tried to throw five bodies at it. I play to have fun after all. Of course, I probably won't do that again, but it was interesting to do it once at least.

Anyways, I just wanted to share a story, I'm not complaining.

That's why i'm always trying to avoid tempest room - it is harmful.

PS: i feel envy - haven't found Atziri's room yet.

I love the temple.

Now, lets just hope that they can upgrade it from time to time. The IIQ in there is rather bad, so the T3 Breach room just feels... Bad. What about putting a chest in there, with an upgraded breachstone? What about a fossil room? A talisman room?

Nah, adding stuff to integrated league mechanics isn't really GGG's strong suit.
