You dont save extra points from that direction, or am i wrong ? ^^ from right side it Will still take 2 points to reach the totem nodes.

Im pretty sure im right, if im not crazy or blind :) Unfortunately idk how to upload image here, and im too lazy to do whole poe planner, so i will describe it. You take Int node right above EO. And at this moment, you can undo one str and one int node between MoM (not the direct one connecting to MoM, you obvisously need that one) and Arcanists Dominion.
how is Atziri's Reflection Golden Buckler in this build instead of one of the void battery?

You can defenitly run with Atziris reflektion, np at all!
The problem is costs ;) IF you got some curr, buy it!
1 void battery is fine :)
You can also choose 1 shaper based shield with +1 totem with some mana/ spell dmg / life etc on it aswell.
Why Arcane Surge level 12?
- Arcane Surge needs mana spent to be triggered, level 8 is good for decent mana spent, this Curse Combo Provides you with extra Spell Damage / Cast Speed
