[3.22] Armoured Exsanguinate Scion - 30k armour 100% spellsup 75/75 real block

is it possible to update your base version to something a little more base? everythign there is super expensive. circle of guilt ring with arcane surge on hit? curse on hit ring, phys spell skill amulet, insanely good wand. nothing there is realistic. its fine but i wouldnt call that 'base'

as this was a WIP back then my gear got better and better and was linked here.

here is a basic starter exsang itemset which should me be more along normal prices:

This build is entrylevel with about realistic 1 mil dps real maxblock and decent lifereg. You also have a 2link free (maybe for fortify!)
Shown dps is effectively a 5link as pob community fork still hasn't implemented cruelty.

the only things pricey is the six linked chest (but 5 link should be ok for up to ~t15 A4) and maybe the catarina head.
Also they nerfed our amulet enchant :/
new candidates are:

Dirty techniques (pure dmg) cannibalistic rite (dps and trash survival) master of force(dmg and hp through strength -> also better in combination with cruelty)

Hey! mostly your problem lies with low chaos res and a too low lifepool and the wrong petrified blood:

Get anomalous petrified blood which pushes your one shot defense further.
target about 6k hp, as it mostly defends from being one shot without making RF a pain to spustain.
get either more chaos res on items or rebuild your tree to use an chaos small cluster with either blessed(more defense) or student of decay (for dmg)

another option would be getting manareduce from somewhere, either on medium cluster jewels (pure might or another master of command)or helmet enchant/amulet

this will eliminate the need for your path to leadership which costs you 6 points for not that much gain(enabling you to invest more in life or a chaos small cluster)

Thanks for the pob update! looks like a solid league starter now, assuming diadem isnt too pricey after a few days in.
As far as anoint - thoughts on charisma? expensive but it gives you enough spare mana to reserve arctic armour, and the freeze immune is helpful with flask management. but then we're only left with 31 mana - do we need mana for any reason in this setup?

No you don't need mana for anything. Charisma would be a good choice if you have the sockets free but after switching to RF base soul of steel is just plain better. maybe for midgame.

I tried to make something very tanky here but the dps is still 1.8mil+ as a 5link without any insane gear. i decided to go with reap as the 6th link. as i think you can cycle the two with the unleash support

Im not completely sure what happens with crystal vault's interaction with tempered by war. but i needed a source of phys dmg reduction and cold res. And as a 6l its like 1ex even early in league.

I also made a high tier warlord rare chest which would be more ideal, with phys taken as and high life and +1 gems, but would be insanely expensive.

I used a cold iron point for now but obviously a very expensive wand would be better, with the trigger craft.

This is obviously very different from your original build . do you think the tempered by war node is good enough to make up for the reduced armor/lack of molten shell and also less regen?

hey! ok that is something completely different :)

Regarding crystal vault:

so it is actual bad to use this armor with tempered by war. there can only be one conversation at the time so all fire damage you get will partially shifted to cold (which is bad) and phys will also be shifted to cold (which is good). Depending what damage you take, at high fire dmg bosses to chest is bad. But there are not many of them, so don't worry.

regarding Reap + Exsang. This is a setup which is mostly played as spellslinger to level(which doesn't scale well, unleash is a good way to get around that). Main problem is, Exsang needs chain support to be good for trash and either you switch out swift affliction and having reap on a 4link or you don't and trash is a pain in the ass. For boss dps you setup should work.

while the lack of armor is ok i think, i wouldn't sacrifice a defense tool for culling strike in that setup. Even if you armor isn't high enough, just use steelskin instead of molten shell and put it on your left mouse button.

Ehy, thanks a lot for the build as I'm really enjoy it.
I think that this is a more advanced build than what I played before so I'm trying to understand some things.

- Are the jewels mandatory for the build even at the entry level version? I'm level 70 now and I don't have those jewels so I don't know where to put my points (no alternatives in PoB).

- Am I supposed to go Low Life at 70 or there's a magic "moment" (i.e. getting specific unique) where I can safely switch?

- Do I use petrified blood with reserved mana before low life or I keep it turned off? (every time I turn it on with mana reserv. seems like I am super squishy avent at res cap, 5k life, 600 ES, 200 ward).
