Compensation needed until desync is less

It's a free game that is in beta. At least you didn't spend 60 dollars and then couldn't even login to the game for a week after release.

Stopped reading at Compensation.

yesterday desynct merciless vaal killed my hc duellist.

but it´s ok- i got "compensated" today with new support gems to try and also i doubt i would have played maps with this melee char anyways (also i expect issues in betas). RIP B_Tod_Aong (created in a race), next! ;) :)

I inferred that he was requesting that the feature be "compensated for" with another feature or technical change. As in "let's compensate for bad feature X with good feature Y". Using the "phrase" compensation in the title was simply a rather tragic error.

I'll say this. The difficulty of this game is such that it is highly "sensitive," which is to say, you have little margin for control error. I would say that a complaint about that sensitivity in conjunction with desync and lag problems one is having may indeed be a fair complaint, albeit there's nothing much that can be done right now until the devs do more refinement on synchronization. It's actually a hard problem, and if they hadn't had a lot of prior experience working on it per se (which I would guess that they indeed have not), then they defintely have work to do (which they do).

Its never been fixed in any ARPG ever made. I wouldnt be holding my breath in hopes for a magic solution.

I'd like them to fix it, of course, but if it really bugs you that much, just play SC. I treat death in this game as an inevitability. It sucks losing some XP, but it's not THAT big of a deal in SC, given that this game is in beta.

The title alone reeks of entitlement.
You also seem to believe that everyone who got to the end of act 3 merc has no life.
