If you want to boost it, why not go RF? It will roughly double your dps. That extra life on your chest, as well as your lack of ES overall, might make it tough, though.
Clarity I've always run on my mana pool - and therefor stopped leveling it past 15, which in retrospect was a bit high even.

I've tried RF today and can sustain it without going for Troll's Blood. However my curses sometimes lower my resistances and therefor my RF goes away if I can't remove the curse instantly with a flask.

However I don't think I need RF. I have ~800 dps and run triple totems, which increases the chance of shocks and tripled my dps. I'm running in the same dps ranges as dual totem RF users.

Well what did you expect? Even at something like 200 IIQ 400 IIR you might never find a Shav or find enough currency for it, you're not guaranteed anything.

It's all RNG, don't focus so much on getting Shav. Honestly, I bet playing poe gets pretty boring with a Shav. What are you farming for then? Small upgrades to the rest of your gear, if anything. And then?

Nah. I'd rather pursue a goal rather than achieving it and quitting poe. But maybe that's just me.

Yup, or else I would of been using RF asap, I loves me some high DPS. I think my current ES is roughly 1770 with discipline. I do plan on rerolling my chest piece to get something similar to yours, and I'm working on getting springfield, just haven't found one to my liking yet.

Do you think moonsorrow is better then my current wand?


P.S. I like your amulet, I'm currently getting one similar to it. If you don't mind, how much did you pay for that and whats the ilvl on your chest?

Yes, moonsorrow is much, much better, on it beats it based on damage alone, add in cast speed and well...

I found my ammy, yeah, it's pretty awesome.

My chest's lvl 68. I paid 3-4 gcp for it.

Love this build, currently level 83 and pushing to 84. ES 3.4 spark dps tooltip 1.6

Shav doesn't make your character god. You don't get much dps and it has mediocore es. You do, however, get the option to do maps. The single biggest upgrade you can get to make your character more powerful is gale emblem shield (huge dps and huge es).

There are plenty of players with shavs and subpar dps/es mainly because they spend the majority of their currency on shavs and they don't have a lot of left over currency for other gear.

I get what you are saying about the goal. The game does get boring without a goal in mind. My goal is to make the most powerful character in the game. Not sure of i'll ever get there but I'm going to try!

Maybe I'm easy to satisfy then, all I need is IIR/IIQ and enough damage to have a decent killspeed. For example if you compare my poorer character to that of deathlordd -

(him) 419 IIR, 62 IIQ
(me) 267 IIR, 108 IIQ

His MF is 8.4, my MF is 7.6 -- so in that sense there's not that much to upgrade for me aside from Shav (losing dps without RF and I don't use charges) and maybe getting 20/20 IIQ/IIR gem. I consider my build pretty much done.
The difference between my character and his is far more than 40 exalts. I consider that a waste of money for a small dps boost and a minimalistic MF boost. Survivability - yes. He has more. I don't play maps, though, so that doesn't make that much of a difference.

Does Phalanx (+20% shield defenses) works with springleaf?
