It's a bit more work than before where I would just run around and recast totems/zombies as needed but I feel it's worth the effort because the zombies are being utilized much better now. Power Siphon is linked with LMP/Reduced Mana.

As you are with any spell linked to IR/IQ ;) That's why you link them to Spark. Having them on zombies is detrimental because you gain IR/IQ bonus only for monsters last-hitted by zombies and to be able to leave anything for zombies to kill, you must tone down spork totems and there's no way i could see it being any effective.

Having the zombies land the killing blow is easy. Watch the enemies health bar and when it gets low, recast the totems away from them and have the zombies surround and kill. Simple.

Ultimately I'll lose out on some DPS/clearing speed by giving up crit chance/multiplier nodes but I'll gain more effective IR/IQ% which is worth it when considering the spirit of the build.

Who knows .. maybe that extra chunk of IR% from the zombies drops me that Shavronnes I've been farming for!

Either i'm missing something or you missed the point ;)

Having IQ/IR on zombies and letting them last hit does not yield anything over linking those same IQ/IR gems with spark and killing everything with totems.

There's no reason for minions to yield more. What the wiki was saying in the paragraph you quoted is that you get the benefit of minions magic find when they last hit, but minions get magic find from your IR/IQ gems, they don't have any by themselves

So, there's no possible advantage i can see on forcing zombies to get last-hits

I should have taken a detonate dead to chamber of sins in merc.... all those lightning resist mobs + ressurect was a real pain lol =/

Thats the worst area I've been in so far on this build.

Ahhhhh I see what you're saying and after double checking the character screen you're definitely right. I'm not gaining any 'extra' MF on top of what the totems are doing but I'm still gaining the IR/IQ if they land the killing blow, now I just don't have to worry about what exactly is finishing enemies.

Now I'll have the flexibility of swapping those IR/IQ gems out for damage/survivability gems dependent on situations. Nice.

Also I read that IR has a point of diminishing returns whereas IQ does not. Has anyone figured out the 'golden ratio' to aim for?

I am demotivated, I am on 76 iiq with 287 iir. I made already a tons of Dock runs, I've found only some low level uniques and since im level 78 I find no more uniques at all. I am only at 7 ex atm (sold my Summoner items), if no unique drop I will never get this Shavronnes Chest. Only collecting Alterations is no possibility, this would take months.

Keep the faith dude you will get there :)

I finally got enough currency together this week to trade for my shavs. I did notice that ot got a lot quicker once I got my IQ up over 120 even at the expense of bringing my IR down from over 200 to just over 100

More IQ means more drops, more currency and more 6 socket stuff to sell for jewelers orbs :)
