game needs more farm spots
" Find a great high ilvl blue? Great. Then regal and triple exalt it. If you aren't unlucky, you should hit some other useful mods that would make that blue much better than it currently is. That's the point. There is no reason to run blue gear endgame because you need a number of mods, defensive and offensive, to have endgame-worthy gear. Having a blue item, no matter how good its one or two mods are, is handicapping yourself. Rare items will always be more valuable. |

" This game needs charms. Almost exactly like the ones in D2. Big ones, medium ones, small ones. Charms with resists...life.. mana..damage..Attack rating..plus skills.. mf.. etc. |

I sort of like the idea of some areas being better for certain types of items than another, and also needing more side areas / random areas / etc.
Maybe the barracks has a better chance at dropping rare strength items type of thing. Would also be nice if areas had a random chance of spawning a side area - make it work like maps - random properties on the side area, improved IIR/IIQ based on the mods. |

Just make an always available random lvl 66 map, so people can always farm for higher level maps and don't have to go dock map farming for 1 map for all day due to RNG. Players will always have a choice to do something random and more challenging than docks. Oh, and don't let multiboxers in - just block machine name to 1 player per 1 map. This game is free and multiboxers are one of the things that damages the market and gameplay. Bilzzard in wow has a reason to allow this - subscription fee. Here, there is no profit in allowing that. It's selfish and against ad hoc groups which are one of the things that build this game.

" love it! " yeah exactly... but then , with the new type of item , youd have it just... "item can ONLY have like, a blues # of mods" (or less even? like 1 mod?) but the 1 , or 2 mods roll higher than other gear could ever roll, in that 1 or 2 mods, and then u could have like more orbs like alterations, chaos.... etc.. for the new color of item? ... i think itd be sweet to reroll mods, but u cant like regal it... it stays -othercolor- always. .. cause its like a unique, but less unique lol.. alot rarer than yellow... reason for this item.... .. you get em just a little bit more common than maps i think it should be... like ... 2-4 per map /area you get these new items... but ur almost guaranteed the 2-4 , makes playing feel more rewarding, but really its like finding... 4-8 yellows.. (me and my buddies, we play , and its like ... "MAP DUDE! nice!" .. "unique, DUUDE!" .. "Qgem, ... ah its 7% dang it.. " ...."6socket, cool!" .. "exalt, NIIIICEE!!" that is all... okay, but now... yeah this is true, there needs to be more farming spots that are viable for farming "end game" items, and they need to be distinct from eachother, so that certain types of builds farm certain places better.
this is why farming was so fucking great in d2, there were plenty of spots to farm, for different things, and with different builds. some builds would ofc do everything ez mode, but the fact that you could build specific characters to farm specific places for specific things prolonged d2s life span ALOT places like; the pits ancients tunnels flayer dungeon (very underrated places for HR farming) travincal lower kurast (the holy mother of all chest farming spots) and the more obvious choices like chaos sanctuary worldstone keep mephisto and his council andy and all the super uniques conveniently placed near wps like pindleskins shenk eldritch etc etc yeah you see where im going this gives also gives some perspective on what a well crafted farming game d2 really was, and that we have a long way to go here before we get there |
