and how long does it take to kick in? do i have to do anything once i get the popup saying a connection has been established?

okay after waiting a few minutes without seeing a change, my download speed jumped from 150kb/s to 530kb/s. its spiking back and forth but mostly between 350-550 now! IT WORKS MWAHAHAHAHAHHA

ive gained 2% in the past 30 seconds, compared to getting 2% every 30 minutes ^^

Currently the Netherlands/Amsterdam connection is the best even if you are in the U.S.

My speed is currently hopping from 600-about 900kb/s.

My speeds are now staying in the 150KB/s range more consistently, and I just saw it reach 220KB/s. I was running less than 50KB/s for the most part before, so it is working for me, just not as fast as some other people. Thanks OP

i went from 1kb per sec, 10% dl after 4 hours, after downloading this shiet i'm gonna be done in 20 mintues or less. THIS SHIT IS WIN AND VALIDATED BY ME.
