Also, 32% increased cast speed (assuming it works on spells and not just casting the rod) is a pretty damn powerful affix.

Yeah, that's the most impressive part. It's very clear that they have a somewhat sizable pool of affixes that are exclusive to fishing. I think they might even have a pool of rare names that are exclusive to fishing rods. Can a normal rare item get a name like "Torment Bite"? I'm not really sure what is going on here, but I do know one thing; I like it.

Some examples of those name 'prefix/suffix' Torment Bite, Damnation Barb

Have patience young grasshopper. It's just being fixed as evidently the new patch seems to have introduced a bug where mobs other than JabberJaws can drop rods. I'm sure once that and a few other things are sorted out, we'll all be able to get back to hunting JabberJaws and the legendary Snaggletooth. It'll be fun :)

fishing rods can be used to convert albino feathers into mirrors. There is a reason why Monstamunch got 9 mirrors next to his MF fishing rod.

Not quite correct, but you do have the right idea. Obviously there is a link between the totally OP double MF rod and the 9 mirrors, and me buying up all the albino rhoa feathers out there.

Edit: I'd also like to point out that at roughly 24 hours old, this thread already has 10k more views than the "Consolidated Important Information and Advice" thread. You people are awesome.

I don't care what you believe, I have until Monday to fish for as many mirrors as I can, why would your beliefs bother me?

I spent so long helping people with fishing, I have no need to prove myself to the likes of you. I provided screenshots of the crafting process because no one had shown the crafting process with fishing rods yet and people were asking about it, so I thought it would be interesting. I go to all the hassle, only to be accused of lying. What part of the screenshots I posted doesn't look real to you?
