Energy Shield Flasks

I came to this suggestion, because their are flasks and flask mods for every other stat:

- Life Flasks
- Mana Flasks
- Armour Flasks
- Evasion Flasks
- Elemental Resist Flasks

So why the hell Energy Shield is the only defensive stat that does NOT get a flask or at least useful flask mods?

So I suggest the following Flask:

Energy Shield Flask:

"
"Recovers X Energy Shield over the next Y seconds"


Energy Shield Mods:

"
+XX% increased Energy Shield Cooldown Recovery During Flask Effect


"
+XX% maximum Energy Shield during Flask Effect


Also their should be all mods like "increased amount recovered, but slower regeneration rate etc." like life/mana flasks have.

I see no problem with it but invariably someone will say it's terrible idea. So expect that and keep in mind they said the same about armor, evasion, quicksilver and quartz flasks.

Although no access to health flasks is something that defines ES, I personally wouldn't mind at all if that was changed.

However, an ES flask doesn't make a lot of sense lore-wise. Why would drinking a potion recharge an external energy shield? You have to make it at least somewhat plausible.

Something like this (shameless plug I guess).

Who said, that the player drinks the potion? :P

Maybe he pours the potion all over his armor. ;)

Well, this flask could have "right clock to pour". xD

Well, their are plenty alternative explanations. Why for example should a potion give you +3000 armour? If you argument that it makes your skin harder, then you could as well say a energy shield flask stengthens your aura which increases your energy shield regen etc.

I think an ES version of the granite & jade flasks should, instead of an 'x' amount boost to it, remove the recovery delay for the time of the flask effect. This would give you 4-6 seconds of nice regen in the midst of combat.
