Because he's a freaking rock star wth! You don't just ask him. And how would you, he sure gets tons of messages every day and I doubt he'll answer them all.

He also doesn't post on the forums much, since he usually has to take measures to net get ddos'ed afterwards which can be annoying I guess.

i still dont understand how you maintain the mana used for the auras.
when do you stop leveling the aura gems? do you stop at all?

how much mana should you have at end game when you wanna use:

anger, wrath, discipline and clarity?

i started a templar LS and everytime i lvled the aura gems i had less mana to use.

thats the point i still really dont understand.

can someone please explain in detail how to manage mana?

Those 4 should be quite easy to sustain. Get those reduced mana gems and you should be fine.

I didn't play this spec but I play a couple others that run heavy aura action, usually couples with EB (that's what Kripp did on the alpha, too. Because he had to, not because he's so excited about it).

It may take some time until you got your mana talents decked out and reduced mana gems are kicking in. But at some point you should be able to use them all.

Thank you very much for your answer. However, I assume you take EB as late as possible, right? Because on my lvl 41 Templar I had like 1,5k life and 600 ES. So effective life was a bit over 2k. If I had picked up EB I obviously got more Mana but at the same time lost like 600 effective life.

So my question is: Do you grab EB as soon as you can, or do you wait til you reach a certain point?

I'm in the process of leveling an EK Witch that uses EB as well.

I grabbed EB right at 31, when Discipline (and thereby the big mana) was available. It looks scary at first to lose that ES but I didn't really care about it. Although I didn't equip for it in the first place, I believe I had like 40ish ES when I switched to EB.

Of course you might want to judge this for your own situation. If you feel like additional auras won't help you more than your current ES pool, then you might want to stick to it until you took care of your defense in whatever way you are going to.

I was running armor/eva mostly. And EB allowed me to use Grace, which gave me quite some survivability. So yeah, as mentioned, if you are currently heavily relying on your ES to survive, you gotta take care of this situation first.

ASAP as long as you can survive. Honestly as a Templar I don't see that as an issue. You have armor, health and resists from passives and items.

And to trade a few hundred points of ES for Clarity, Discipline (more mana), Grace, Anger, Wrath and Purity? Yes please.

Also I have about 1.8k health and I'm level 60, so I think you're doing okay lol.
