LAG problem - High packetloss

Seems like most people with this problem (me included) have an issue with ams01.networklayer.com. I think it is probably a routing issue, as the server seems to be having some problems, but I'm not sure.

It appears everything is fine on their end. But truth be told, I'm not sure how to read that data.
Today the game was unplayable. And I also got kicked out from the server at one point. I've had problems every day the last couple of weeks. From almost unplayable, to completely unplayable, like today.

It propably is. I've actually been in contact with softlayer about this. They however, said that they coulnd't answer questions since i'm no customer of them. And since GGG doesn't seem to care (or at least then don't show us that they care), i guess it's time to take a break for real from PoE. At least until we get some answers and they show us that they're working on it.

Well, those numbers just show latency (ping) (from what i can understand). And i don't believe that is the main issue here. We're dealing with really high packetloss. That means alot of the information sent is lost on the way and have to be resent.

We do have spikes in latency, but for the most of the time, we don't.

I mean, look at most WinMTR reports that have been posted about this issue (actually all reports in this thread so far), the average latency is around 40 ms, which is good. But with 10 to 20 % loss, good latency doesn't matter.

On page one, someone called Syph posted his/her results. Average latency of 29 ms. Really good. Spiked for 304 somewhere in the test. That's still "playable". Some people actually play games with that kind of latency all the time. But then there is the issue with 28% packetloss. With 28% loss, i would say it's unplayable.

Same thing with bullbutch. 41 average, spike of 220. Would have been totaly playable if it weren't for that 22% loss. That's ridiculous. It's impossible to play when one fifth of all information sent is lost on the way.

Still no response from GGG. Nothing. No answer here and nothing on the news page. Where are you GGG? Do you care at all?
I'm connecting from South Africa via the Europe servers and it seems i have the same issue with po1.fcr01.sr01.ams01.networklayer.com

Right now my latency is hopping between 180 and 1200ms constantly.

I'll rather queue on a working server than play on that one, so perhaps they should take it down?

edit: seems like po2 isnt any better either :/

It's sad that I'm getting used to playing with high latency now on PoE.
I'm lucky to be under 100ms these days but usually I'm playing on 300 - 600 ping. I have to usually log off or just hit the trade chat when I reach 400+

Some nights my spikes reach 1200+ or even higher.

Please GGG, address this issue!
so is this a problem that has never been fixed? how does this keep going on.. same issue just started for me 2 days ago. been totally fine on PoE ever since back in OB..
packetloss at networklayer addys.. coming through comcast
