Would I be correct to assume that the crash won't happen if you don't trigger the trap at all, even when >6 tiles away from the mob who layed the trap?
I'd like to report this is happening for me as well, Act 3 crematorium. Can't play in groups at all, crashes out in a matter of minutes (makes sense that it would be the trap issue described).

getting this error multiple times in act 3 sewers. unplayable right now...


Edit: missed Chris's reply up there ^^^ i'll play solo for a while and kill all those nasty mobs with traps that are making me crash >-]

Now that the explanation was provided, I have been observing this occurence in City of Sarn, first map of Act3. There is a unique boss monster that throw bear traps at you. After farming it for an hour, it is clear the trap is the trigger.

Unfortunately, this means I lost a map that I was regularly farming. Im getting crash probably every other time I encounter the monster, therefore, it is rather inefficient to start over so often.
Delete "ShaderCache" in game folder. It always helps me.

Only happens in ACT III Sewers. And deleting "ShaderCache" didn't help :'(
This crash also happened to me a few minutes ago, i was in Act 3 Crematorium, and when i left the party i was in, i got this crash. Crshed the whole game back to desktop.
I just received this error
I've crashed from this error 5 or 6 times today
