[Removed by Support] Even if you ignore the logical inconsistencies and just want to have a good time with a game that's similar, but newer and more complex than Diablo, the inhumane difficulty kills the last traces of your sanity and patience. I can't even imagine how the "ruthless" mode is, after playing on the standard one. Perhaps you simply start dead, while the crows are pecking at your carcass and you get to watch how the whole process of decomposition and natural cycle unfolds. Hardcore mode? If I'd play this game on hardcore, it'd be the absolute evidence that I need to be locked away in a thick bunker and have the key thrown to the bottom of the ocean, as my mental state would pose a great threat not only to those around me, but to all of mankind. I mean, what if I become president one day? I came back this league because I thought that it finally turned into a great game, but it's still very far from it. It's going to be a long, long time until I'm so bored to actually subject myself to this torture again.

Eventho I have about 4,5t hours in game, I just 1st time seriously played SSF and a did some challanges and would like to give you a bit of feedback. I did not play Rituals and Ultimatum because I do not like them and not much of Expedition, because and did a lot on Trade. My idea was start with RF (easiest) Elementalist and than swap to something. DO would be nicest because I realy know the buid but I was open. Early on I got Quill Rain, Skirmish. I gamblet for Dyadian Dawn. So EA Ballista Elementalist it is. I had no plan even for Atlas tree so I made 1st one really bad. Now I go throud Tabs and write to most of them something. Currency: I would say too much Transmutations, Augmentation, Chromatics, Armourer's Scraps. I think that drop rate could be reduced. I'm really strugling with Jeweler, Fusing, Regret and Unmaking orbs. I'm 97 and still picking up 6 socket items. I think that would be nice since you makes us unable to roll 20+ quality, change chance to 6 socket and 6 link to as it was in past for 30 quality. And bit more Jewelers. For Regrets and Unmaking I'm still unable to use 1st Atlas Tree because it's mess and I made mistake I understand, but this would kill new players. Maybe add option for both trees pay 40 orbs and clean whole tree. (Note: Also no GCP but all hail Lab") Maps: Well too much maps, really too much. This should be reduced. (side note, on trade I can't even fit some maps in Map tab) Uniques: I don't understand drop/chancing logic. Still picking up every single Astral plate and tring to chance it into Death's Oath, looks like not possible, also Wilma's Requital took me 3-4M gold on gambling + chancing. Maybe delete some which are not used, maybe reduce drop those which drops too often. Cards: I think I already wrote my take on cards so make it simple. When card has map drop, should drop only from that specific map and overall drops should be increased. And I would delete Stack Decks from game. Essence: Helped me craft a lot, farming was decent, bit anoying but overall I would say good spot. Delve: I think only Delve should drop Resonators. No other mechanics. But I would give more Fossils in other mechanics also in Delve. But overall better one. Oils: Great, well It was really painful to farm them by myself, but drop rate OK and because you can upl-level them 3:1 I have enough for 2 more characters or at least 2 more necks. Delirium: Really interesting drop of Cluster Jewels. 14 Large, 24 Medium, 32 Small. From those Large 5x Attack 4x Spell (General clusters not much of useable. Could you delete them? :) ) Medium - Most of them are damage over time and area damage again most of them are just "general" Small - I would say good mix. Fragments: Decent mix of everything. I was only sad, that I can't swap Scarabs in Harvest ... I didn't use most of them. Now bit about thinks I really dislike or think are broken. Farming Influenced Exalted orb is pain. Real pain, maybe reduce amount of influenced items drop and increase those Exalts. Because when I'm crafting where I need influence I'm not gonna craft on trash base. I would change a bit formula for evasion to be bit better. And just change formula for Armour to be useful. Minions with Meat Shield and Totems. This is broken. I even try take 20% of damage taken by totems and still easy mode. Compare to my Mageblood build on Trade this is Tanky as hell. And yes I have here close to no armour, and bit lower evasion. But still because I can put totems in way of projectiles this is OP. I think player should take 30% of all HIT damage minions and totems take. Or should be immortal, untargetable (can't tank) and all projectiles goes through. This is really OP eventho I enjoy it playing, this is too punishing for anyone not using Meat Shield and totems. (Note lvl 97 only 8217 Armour and 21580 evasion ... my lvl 100 DO Occultist on trade have 43t Armour and is way less tanky) I understand that trade fix most of those issues. I would like to play only SSF in future, but I think it's too anoying now. Keep doing your great work with PoE 1. Have some rest before next league and see you later :) Best Regards Martin | |
I think this game is amazing. I have spent a lot of time playing it, and I hope you will add a few new characters to make the game more diverse and rich.

I can't wait for this "league" to be over. I'm waiting to discover if Mercs go Core. I haven't touched this league because, I don't think Mercs are fun. I understand it makes the game easier for people who suck at the game, but also it gives experienced players another mechanic to learn, min-max and HAS to be included with your character to get as far as you were once able to do on your own. That sucks. No drama, but I just won't be doing that. It's like a forced minion I'll have to include into every build I play. :( You'll have to up the difficulty making it a necessity.
