Skin attempt, decided not to due to Hyrri's Ire appeareance

Note: writing from my viewpoint of good-looking


I was about to give GGG some miserable cash, as I've decided to skin all those shitty looking items.

The goal would be a gladiator/warrior/realistic looking character.

The only chest that's really good is Hyrri's Ire, I decided to buy everything first before skin attempts.

Bought the chest, shield is next, so, what's the most realistic shield look in here... Daressso's Courage is the #1, next would be Colossal Tower Shield base maybe.

Next would be the sword, need a real sword, not those rapiers or scimitars. This is where I'm stuck at, I remember Legion Sword base was really good, but now when I look at it, it's too short, more of a short sword, would like a long sword.

Corsair is pretty good but not the one I'm looking for, it also doesn't match 2D and 3D art, like my Jeweled Foil (unrelated to skinning process).

Got my Goliath Greaves, very good looking, those Rainbowstrides are for Gucci or D&G.

Lets look how it all looks without the helmet skin (final skin would be The Bringer of Rain, it should match up perfectly with Hyrri's Ire).

Now lets look at the test screenshots:

That red shirt is so incredible ugly.

GGG should completely remove it.

Plus, you could've at least cut a bit these screens, they're a real pain in the ass to check out, since the scrolling bar is at the bottom of everything...

I'm pretty sure this isn't by choice directly.

GGG also knows that their particle and outdoor effects are ridiculous in some cases. Until those are addressed, and setting options are given to the players, I will not rag on anyone that adjusts their graphic settings in hopes of smoothing gameplay.

I know GGG is working on it.

I think the phrase is "pig in a wig" ;)

Hyrri's Ire makes you look a bit lopsided and silly. And the duelist's shirt should be black not red.

But disregarding that I really think you have a stylish char there.

Your idea of what a "realistic gladiator" should look like has no resemblance at all to what gladiators actually looked like.
