Unofficial Path of Exile Android App
Just a quick post with some ideas for an app. Some have been suggested already, some might be new.
Offline Passive Skills tree - touch-navigable - image-free or low data option? - touch-friendly mouseover info, select & deselect (single touch, double touch, long touch?) - cumulative stats window (like the offline skill tree) Vendor recipes & Currency converter - search by input or output - vendor currency trade ratios - external link (online only) to PoE wiki and/or forums? Comprehensive Build Planner - passive skills & cumulative stats - skill & support gems; selectable quality, level, links, etc. - item generator; selectable mods, quality, gem slots, links - party buffs, auras, etc. - spits out a DPS calc per skill; single target, AoE, dps, dpm Item builder - probability on rolling a rare with given desired stats, gem colours, links, etc. - eg. number of currencies required to go from white to rare 6-link with desired mods & gem colours. - also.. this could be a I don't know if all the formulae are even known at this point to get in all the proper calculations, but this might be a feasible longer-term project. |

I agree with the other posters about getting the skilltree out ASAP. The web interface loads up on my phone , but I can't pan or zoom the tree. As others have said, there is essentially no way to view or edit builds while on a mobile device right now.

If you could also have a little key in the corner with a mathmatical sum of each type of node taken. eg i have a total of 42% max hp.
that would be handy for people who want to be lazy at maths lol. Although i would never get to use it. Im not getting a smart phone. Smoother than Smooth. Последняя редакция: Moist#6523. Время: 1 февр. 2013 г., 02:58:02

" Those were the main reasons I wanted an app like that, there was none, so we decided to make one. From what you all say the plans currently are to release: Basic App - Touchscreen friendly Offline Passive Skill Tree Builder - As soon as possible. Complex App - This will need some work, as beside of the programming I will have to make some interfaces for non-standard interactions. I wish there was a poll option to see how many of you use Android / iOS devices. Then we would know if we should make native app or OS agnostic one Последняя редакция: waligorskim#3234. PoE Helper actually runs on Android (Chrome) and iOS (safari). I just haven't figured out a friendly way to package it up. Might be possible to integrate it with an app (webview perhaps? tho you need a logged in session on this website).
Making a bookmark for: " works for me anyways, you gotta run it while logged into the PoE site and actually on it. Not sure how long it'll work for, it's a bit of a pain in the ass to update whenever the html changes. Was more to see how well it'd work on my nexus 7... School just started and I need something to do during class! I would love an app such as you described.
This will lead to certain doom. Well, maybe not certain doom; more like, doom with a strong possibility. Possibilidoom.

I'd like to see a list of prefix and suffix's for each item category to determine if it's worth upgrading. Taking that one step further... maybe have a spot where you can plug in the stuff your item has and the app tells you if that item is worth exalting or whatever. But for sure we need a list of prefix/suffix's.
Along that same theme, maybe a list of how many sockets and links an item can have at what ilevels so people know easily figure out if it's worth trying to craft extra sockets/links or just throw the item away and look forsomething better. Quest rewards, i look those up ALL the time. Maybe a quest walkthru Maps with monster levels listed for all the difficulties. Maybe some tips about what type of monsters you'll fight there so you can know to equip extra resist rings or what not. Also requirements to get to certain areas. I would basically just love to have a 2nd screen app that has all the info I'm usually looking up just there on my tablet. I know i can currently just load up the wiki but it's a bit more challenging to navigate on a tablet browser and the skill tree doesn't work at all. Последняя редакция: xTANKx#0175.
