The Benefit Of Shocked

Has anyone done any testing of Mob Life to determine whether Shocked is a decent investment? I'm considering basing my high attack speed build around it but I need a general idea of what Life mobs have to tell whether the shocks will make an appreciable difference.

Just get the "Static Blows" node(s) it gives a chance to shock no matter how hard you hit.
And since shock stacks is probably the most OP'ed thing in PoE damage wise it's well worth the travel for any build. Nothing to see here.

"Nope. Shocked is ignored if the duration is below 0.3 seconds. I estimated that level 62 rares have about 25,000 HP, and wrote a program to simulate shocked's effects. Bottom Line, Lightning Strike had 100% shocked uptime, other skills had jack even with Added Lightning Damage, Wrath Aura, and a bunch of elemental damage boosts.
