Increased quantity items... NONE by lvl 62... :(

So I have played through to merciless and never found a single item with an increased quantity of item mod on it..

Is this something that has stopped being dropped or have I just been extremely screwed??

I use Item Rarity gem and several item rarity mods on my equipment, but I know that quantity is believed to trump quality in terms of farming currency etc.

I also think I have had 5 maybe 6 chaos orbs by lvl 62 in total.. Am I just really unlucky or are most people trading for these with ultra high level characters?

I am not averse to grinding at all, but I am starting to get sick of my total lack of currency.

What am I doing wrong?

It got removed. There are still some uniques with it, though.

You're in Standard, right? You can buy equipment with IIQ on it, there is still legacy stuff available on XYZ, as well as IIQ gems.

Most of it is only a couple of Chaos, except for the high level stuff.

EDIT: You're not doing anything wrong, BTW. Just remember to always collect as many rares as you can to convert to Alts. Alterations go for about 1c:15-18 (standard can be a bit stingy), so you can gather alts as you rol..

For example, I usually gather anything between 20 - 40 alterations an hour if I am paying attention. So that is a couple of chaos every hour or so, if you find a buyer.

if you want to play with a 100+ iiq/500+ iir setup you have to play standard or hc legacy

these stopped dropping about 8-9 months ago if i remember correctly. only way to get is play perma leagues but be ready to pay a FORTUNE for a good piece.

LOL I just found out I have a pair of boots like that in standard. Don't know where they came from; they were in my stash and I was looking for boots with high regen and life, put them on my character and never saw the item quantity mod until later. DUH
