One weapon with cosmetic effect; Dual wield = both weapons have same effect

I don't find it in the known issues list, and I don't know if this is intended. I'm dual wielding lifesprigs. As you can see, one of them does not have the awakening effect. But both have the same glow. Also tried dual wielding two different weapons. The effect is also brought over to the other one.

It's imtended. Do you really want to have to buy 2 of the same mtx when dual wielding?

I wouldn't, but it does make sense to not apply it to dual wielding. Since they're separate weapons.

Regular mtx's don't apply to both weapons as intended...have to make $$ somehow.
When Supporter Pack weapon mtx first came out they didn't apply to both weapons. After some forum/reddit crusading they changed this (rightly) since it wasn't reasonable to buy another supporter pack to get another weapon effect. @ucsarge

now i'm assuming it only applies with supporter pack MTXs that you can't get 2x |

This is intended so, due to forcing to buy 2 packs. Afaik it works for all effects after the kind change GGG made due to complaints.
You can apply a second effect if you only want one to have that specific effect. No Problem,
