Damage that Enfeeble will not reduce?
I am trying to familiarize myself with the damage that Enfeeble will not help me with. Off the top of my head I can think of these:
Desecrated Ground Burning Ground Detonate Dead Strongbox Other's I am not so sure about. For example, assuming the Rare mob is Enfeebled, does it reduce the damage from Volatile's? I am pretty sure that Enfeeble will reduce the effects of a bleed/poison on hit and also Poison Cloud etc. if the mob is cursed before they initiate the attack? Please correct me if these are wrong and list any other damage types which I have not considered :) |

The inital hit from an Enfeeble'd monster that inflicts poison/bleed would result in a lower damage poison/bleed yes, but won't affect the actual degen.
As for Poison Clouds, you could probably test that in PvP, have one player use Caustic Arrow and the other casts Enfeeble. |

As someone who played with Blasphemy-Enfeeble last league as primary defense, I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on death effects, I found porcupines really scary. But that might be just porcupines being porcupines.
Doesn't work on environmental damage in general, and we're getting a lot of that in the expansion. Also the Bloodline Guardian, while he has the immunity effect. | |
I use enfeeble 21/8 linked to increase duration and it's pretty awesome. It's one of the best curses.

" Generic Damage modifiers most definitely apply to Damage over Time - otherwise, you wouldn't be able to modify DoT with anything. |

Vipermagi, do we have differing definitions of generic damage modifiers? Based on my definition, if generic didn't scale DoT, you would still gave Damage over Time increases, and depending on source, increased elemental damage, increased fire damage, increased chaos damage, increased burning damage, and increased poison damage.
For clarity, when I say generic increased damage, I mean the mod "x% increased damage" and nothing else. Or did you turn on your time machine and come from 2013 or so? Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

Thanks for the info guys. I guess the best way to test the one's I am still unsure of is to try the curse out on something safe.
I am sure Enfeeble will work wonder's for me on most content, but I will tread carefully on approaching certain damage sources. |

I thnik it does not reduce damage from:

" Never tested it, but I heard it actually does. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" Yes, and Less Damage is the same modifier. Anything that benefits from "Increased X Damage" also benefits from "Increased Damage" and thus also "Less Damage". They're all the same thing. " EDIT; Fire/Chaos/etc. are not inheritable Damage modifiers. Последняя редакция: Vipermagi#0984. Время: 28 февр. 2016 г., 18:05:36
