Liege of Primordial Buff increase not working?

So I went Elementalist because this buff looked super interesting to me. I finally got it and I don't think it's working properly. Perhaps I misunderstand something ...

"Liege of the Primordial
40% increased Damage of each Damage Type for which you have a matching Golem
Your Elemental Golems are Immune to Elemental Damage
100% increased effect of bonuses granted by your Elemental Golems"

So I took this to mean IF I have the Flame Golem in play I would recieve a 40% increase to my fire dmg because he is a Fire elemental golem. I would then also see his 15% increase in dmg turn into a 30% increase in dmg from the "100% increased effect of bonuses" part .... I don't see that.

I tested this with the New Stone golem as that is easy to see. At level 4 it gives 42 health per sec. So with the double buff it should be 84 ... its not.

The 40% dmg of the appropriate element work as I tested that with a spell of all the elements.

However I am not sure the Immune to elemental damage is working as I dueled a buddy and had him just shoot fireballs at my Stone golem ... My golem got chunked.

What am I missing?

The Stone Golem is not an Elemental Golem - he is a Physical Golem instead. As such, he only offers 40% Increased Physical Damage and does not benefit from the other modifiers.

How are you testing whether you're receiving 15% or 70% Increased Damage from your Flame Golem? Did you check values before and after taking the node, for example? :)
I am stretched for time atm, so I can't ascend a Witch to check for myself. Sorry.
Vipermagi is correct. Earth golem isn't elemental golem. As for fire golem, calculating increased damage requires doing all the math behind more/less multipliers, spell damage bonuses, etc.. which can be daunting...
It should be pretty easy to tell if these things are working or not,

Tested this today, 3/11 NO BUFF of ANY kind is being givin by ANY golems beyond the normal buff. No double chaos golem defense, no double stone golem regen, no bonus dmg to phys dmg with stone golem ( the skill does NOT specify it only works with fire / ice golem it specifically says YOUR GOLEM GIVE BONUS DMG OF ITS ELEMENT, so no bonus phys dmg would be inconstant with that.

I am pretty sure this entire skill is a broken mess. I would be suprised if ANY part of it actually works.
Can we get some clearification about this skill? chaos golem doesnt work, stone golem doesnt work, I dont see why they wouldnt.

At the moment only elemental golems are Fire & Ice ones.

Except it does not say ELEMENTAL GOLEMS, YOU are the one saying that......it says the damage type OF YOUR GOLEM. NOT damage type of your fire / ice golem. All we want is a dev to log on for the 5 minutes it would take to test it out and look, because either its not clear in what it does, or it aint doin crap.
And also why the hell does lightning damage not have a freakin golem type for it.....
Not to mention "elemental golem" is not a skill tag, the tags are just "golem" so how are we to know what golems are possibly affected by this skill ? As the game itself does not clarify what an "elemental golem" actually is. The entire skill needs clarification imo.
I also think its ridiculous that for an ascendancy point, using 3 golems I cant actually tell if the point does anything, its lackluster as a point to begin with if you can use it and not notice a SINGLE difference from before you had it.
