Best Support for "Cast when Damage Taken" Gem!? Wich LVL for CWDT?

Hi,
my Freezing Pulse Elementalist Witch uses the Cast when Damage taken Gem. The only helpfull Spell i've found is "Frost Wall". I wanted to use "Enduring Cry" but this doesn't work. You can link a low-level immortal call, or a low-level curse, or a low-level area of effect spell with a high-level curse-on-hit setup like ventiman did. All of these are common choices.
