Dancing Dervish builds?

So I've had several of these drop and they are dirt cheap on poe.trade. Has anybody made a build with this unique yet? I can't seem to find a single build guide or anybody even mentioning the unique anywhere. It seems like a really fun and interesting playstyle and I'd like to make a build with it, but I have absolutely no idea how to do it. Should I just make a facebreaker build and equip the sword and once it procs use weapon swap? Or maybe a general 2h build and then weapon swapping when it procs? Or should I go for minion passives on the tree? I've heard that you can weapon swap with Dancing Dervish, I sure hope it's true, otherwise I cant see any way to make this work.

I played around with it a bit, lemme repost it here

Ok, got the blade, shuffled gear around a bit for unarmed and here we go. My impressions about the gearing process are that an unarmed build without a shield can have resist troubles, and mine sucked too as seen in few places at the video. It can be remedied with better jewelry or a few well placed points on tree, but looking for high phys rolls, life and reses can be tricky - or costly. I'll probably dig out something on my other chars but this was the best I could scrounge up at the moment. One other thing is if you're doing a hybrid like me you will think long and hard about the helm slot because it's very important to a summoner, I decided to skip helm dps for tougher minions myself.

The char is a melee/summon hybrid built on Champion platform using the taunt branch for better group synergy. Besides Dervish he has two spectres in a 4L, a support-equipped Guardian and a Stone golem (note the damage from multistrike slam in the video, too bad he uses it rarely).

Well, it's evident that Dervish can do some damage (it's a 7L minion after all), but you kinda have to give him the chance. If you make a real facebreaker build and just slap the sword on it you won't really notice much difference except for Rampage and Onslaught, and giving up your shield just for that doesn't strike me as terribly wise. However, if you balance your warrior and summoner aspects properly, you will get something that makes a bit of sense despite the lowish power level.

Well, you do builds like these for fun anyway, as long as it's fun for you and can kill a few zombies it's all good.

Ah, and weapon swapping doesn't work, it won't unsummon the minion or end rampage, but your hand slots are disabled as long as the minion is out so you won't be able to use anything in them.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Does that mean the gems in your 2nd slot won't gain exp while dervish is out? Or is it just like the slots become red (as though you have not enough stats or levels to equip the item)?
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Aye, that's exactly what happens.
