spell echo question

i'm confused with spell echo. i have a curse supported with spell echo and faster casting. tooltip shows casting time as 0.24 seconds. so this cast time shows total time for original curse and its repetition (0.12 sec for each one) or just the original one without its repetition (0.48 sec for both)?

It's the time for a single cast. Spell echo causes two casts to happen every time you press the button, so if the tooltip says 0.24 seconds it will take 0.48 seconds total. Since spell echo gives 70% more cast speed at level 20, it will take about 18% more time than a single cast, but you get two casts and the second one doesn't even cost mana.
Spell echo is rather useless with curses, but I assume you were just testing the mechanic and not planning to actually use it. |
