Need help with Dual Wander/Cold skills

I've never tried to use wands as my dps - they just seem so, so under powered. But I want to try it now so I can be sure.

I want to use chill and freeze as support, with dual wands as my dps, but the skill tree seems to group wand nodes with lightning damage, not cold. What nodes do you guys recommend I prioritize while I'm still under level 50?

I'm thinking: Bee-line it towards Elder Power, Tempest Blast/Fusillade, Dark Arts ... then maybe Breath of Rime, but not Heart of Ice? (I just want freeze/chill/crit; I don't need cold damage nodes) Then maybe Prism Wave? Should I get the Wandslinger node earlier?

I just want to know what skill nodes I should go for first. Ideas?
