Leveling Slower Projectiles gem past 19?

Hello guys, is there any reason to level Slower Projectiles gem past 19, since the "more multiplier" doesn't change from 19 to 20, while it still reduces the projectile speed further?
I mean, besides the purpose of corrupting it to 21 (and gain that 1% more damage), am I missing something? Or is a level 20/20 corrupted Slower projectiles gem just worse than a 19/20 one?

still always go for 20/20 and either sell it or vaal it... your aim should be in 99.99999% the cases to get the 21/20

because as far as I know, actual meta skills (barrage, solar guards, frost blades, spectral throw, etc.) want their projectiles to be as faster as possible...

yeah to be honest I've noticed this just now since when i played a wander I got lucky with my gem at 21/20 xD

sure I'll attempt the corruption this time also, but I guess that there's no point in keeping a level 20 one in place of a 19

well I always used lightning ball linked with multiple projectiles and curse on hit to proc EE and curse (you know the actual spectre meta) so I didn't know that ball lightning is boosted by a slowest speed, so maybe some builds which use it as a main skill may benefit from it after all

Ball lightning, magma orb and storm-burst are the 3 main ones that benefit from slower projs if i remember correctly

alright, so except for these skills, the higher level is just a "nerf" for all others? (barrage, spectral throw, etc.)
