Recommended build for new player

Hi all, I've just started this game and im having lots of fun clearing maps with the Enki's Arc Witch - a beginner & SSF-friendly Lightning Caster build, its really organized and noob friendly.

However, a friend of mine advised me to follow a build that can do late game bosses like Uber Atziri and I don't know more yet :D

So, Is there a better guide to follow then that, or is that build viable for this late game bosses?

Oh, and i want to play a caster, that's why i created witch. Don't really like to play summoner variations.

That build isn't a great boss killer. Especially endgame stuff.
Might be possible to switch to something like ball lightning or lightning tendrils for a better single target, but it wouldn't be ideal.
Try running normal atziri, see how you get on.

I imagined that this build would not work well with endgame bosses.
I'm still lvl 34, so i presume i'm not late to start changing stuff.

Can you recommend another guide/build?
