Lightning Build Feedback

First time poster, long time noob looking to get some feedback/suggestions on what I can do with my current lightning build. It feels like I have some good damage on map levels up to around 8 but then I start dying fairly often so I'm not sure the best way to proceed. I'm able to clear hoards like it's my job and then die on the bosses, so I'm thinking I'll need gem to kill only a single monster at a time.
