Loot allocation issues (very frequent occurance)

Hi GGG,

Since 3.2, we're having a lot of strange loot allocations issues. For starter, we're playing with a group of friend (3 to 5 people in the party) and we are helping a lot each other, exchanging gear, currencies etc...

But even if we are sharing our ressources, since the release of 3.2, we started having "opened" allocations like if we were playing on "free for all" on some low tier currencies ( chances, fusings ) and some low tier cards ( Her Mask and stuffs like that ).

When the first patch of Bestiary came in, we started seeing some higher tier currencies with a bad allocation ( chaos ) and mid tier cards ( Lucky Connections, Jack in the Box ).

On the last patch of Bestiary, it was really high tier currencies and cards ( Exalt / The Hoarder ).

Since the beginning of incursion, we've seen almost everyday wrong allocations from low to high tier currencies and cards. And now, even some 6S are wrongly allocated.

We know that at a certain distance, items are unlocking. Be we are talking about drops at this distance :


... from a strongbox, a kill, or a dummy ( cardboard, vases etc... ).

We are playing 95% of the time on "Permanent Allocation" and each time the bug occured, we've checked the allocation setting.

Since I'm playing almost all the time glass cannon / really fast builds, I'm often able to catch the drop before someone else.

Since we are friends, the problem is not a big deal. But it is still frustrating to see a drop that is potentially allocated to you and seeing someone pick it up before you. Also fusings is one thing, but Exalts or Doctors cards drops can be something that could lead to a report and / or harrasment in a public party (if not worst).

It is becoming more and more frequent (we've seen more that 10 occurences in a 3 to 5h session on several maps) and I think it could be interesting to check it out, or at least be transparent about how allocation works.

i have this issue also for exalts.And Tier 1 div cards?
it's a shame when you think" oh one exalt for me " and seeing another one picking up at front of you........
If you are grabbing anything and your inventory is full it will flip and upon doing so will become free for all.

There was also something about the distance from players causing it to go free for all though i'm not sure on the details of that one (like if you are off screening stuff, or if someone has leroyed ahead)

Well, if we were newcomers I would agree that we could have missed something like that (the catch and drop when you are full). But it's not, we are talking about a real allocation problem before picking it up.

Also, that's why i've mentionned the distance between players. Yesterday again, we have seen occured three times : two fusings and a chisel with the three players inside the screen (including me of course).

We're not at a stage where it is hard to reproduce it. I think that anyone at GGG can grab a party of 3 to 4 players and see it happen pretty often.
