GGG should block trade API access to poe.trade till poe.trade is fixed

poe.trade has been bugged for several days now and is not updating properly. This results in sellers getting spammed with whispers by people looking to buy items that were de-listed hours ago.

Its extremely annoying and for some reason, there are hundreds or thousands of players who have not caught on to the fact that poe.trade is bugged even though it has been happening for several days and is frequently mentioned everywhere.

Please block trade api access to poe.trade till they fix it so we can stop getting spammed by people using the broken site.

The site owner doesnt reply to forum PMs or anyone in his forum thread so its impossible to contact him either.

Agree, tired of having to put DND on all the time because people want an item I was selling 3 days ago

if you made a thread and edited out it will often not update because you simply did not bump.
As far as premium stash tab I can even see ppl update the sockets...

I sold an item like an hour ago and was getting whispers it was pretty awful.

I only use the premium stash tabs to list. Its poe.trade's fault, the site has been famously bugged for days now.

Every single day, getting spammed with 100+ whispers for items that were sold hours ago. If I set DND mode, I cant do any normal trading or even talk to people ingame at all.

Gettinng spammed again because poe.trade is broken...GGG should really do something about this...

GGG should focus on what they never reall do which is fixing the game issues. Not on that...
What you are saying is like if we asked mass transit networks to fix google if it google map ever had wrong schedules...

All they have to do is block trade API to websites that are broken. Its not even hard. Its their responsibility to make sure their API isnt being misused.

If your bank shared your contact details with one of their partners, and your phone keeps ringing off the hook with marketing calls, do you call your bank and ask them to stop sharing your contact details or do you just sit there and hope people stop calling you?

Players literally cant do anything about it. The website owner just does not respond to forum PMs and he has no contact info up on his website.

If you have a better solution that avoids us getting spammed while still allowing us to do normal trading, that would be great. This whole situation proves just how easy it is to misuse the trade API...its a wonder nobody up till this point has created a troll site that "accidentally" updates listings with wrong info so people get spammed for items they do not even have.

It's public.. Anyone can get the info. Even you. If you block someone they simply use another ip. That is totally illogical, irrelevant and make no sense.

I love how you asked 2 questions without being able to provide a realistic solution. You cannot call the bank and tell them to change how they work. It just wont happen and they will say that your number is already provided and therefor cannot do anything about it. The solution is then to change number AND bank. A lot of people have to resolve to that. Im not sure why you are so inclined into shooting yourself in the foot by providing a context that show exactly what Im talking about. IF a 3rd party call you, you cannot tell the one who feed the third party to tell them to stop calling you. It just doesnt work that way and NEVER HAS! This is why they sell to a third party! To make sure that they cant be liable and that the third party need to call you at least once before you can tell them "I dont want you to call me again!".

The API has been abused long and hard for much longer then you can imagine... If you can never get anything great at very good price it's because of API abuse that been existing since that API creation. When you start to realize that the API help ppl have secondary accounts that they use for trading and auto pm ppl if item stats/price ratio is right to control market you will get in a whole new ballgame and want the API down all together. But then again it wont happen because those ppl buy extra stash tab on the trade accounts to control the market. Will GGG let go of this ? NO

Its funny how instead of blaming poe.trade for not fixing the website and causing us to get spammed, you fall over yourself coming up with excuses to defend the site owner. LOL. The massive fanboyism is sad.

I just checked poe.trade again...no support email listed anywhere on the page. Even a ctrl+f shows nothing. Who knows, maybe its on one of those annoying ads that I had to block to stop causing my CPU usage to spike.

Still getting spammed by whispers due to poe.trade being broken...zzz...
