Can't install again/ Fixed / Hard Drive dying/ Close the Thread.

Here's the thing. Played the game yesterday, no issues, as always.
Got home from work, played with my dogs, made some coffee, then decided to run couple of maps.
Surprise, surprise, can't start the game, it freezes my PC.
Restarted. Same thing. System Restore. Same thing (which is very weird, yesterday worked perfectly).
Decided to uninstall, clean the registry in case there is something in there, deleted every trace of it that I could find.
Downloaded the installation.
Cannot install the game. Well, it actually installs, but when it goes to the patching process, it hangs, and presents me with error message.
Uninstalled again, this time it told me there is no such thing as Path of Exile shortcut, removed from Iobit Uninstaller, but all the files remained on PC intact.
Deleted manually. Scanned entire PC. No issues. Cleaned registry completely with WRC9.
Tried installing it again, fresh new installation, on different location, same thing happens, installs, starts, goes to the patching process (downloading 10 gigs), hangs for a minute, error message again.

Now I am unsure what the hell happened, because I've been playing this game since 2013, and I have never had this kind of problem with it. I humbly ask for help in figuring out what the hell is wrong.

EDIT - Update:
Tried shredding completely every single file related to the game via file shredder (deleted it 7 times). Checked hard drive for errors, had 6 bad sectors, replaced them, replaced bad sector in "content.ggpk" as well, was hoping that'll fix it, ran install, all the same. Deleted "content.ggpk", started install, worked until downloading to 10.38%, same error again. Tried continuing the install, same. Tried checking the "content.ggpk" with provided PackCheck.exe from the same folder, same crash error as well. Literally, everything connected to the game seems to not work. Tried installing some other random stuff at the same drive, worked fine. Tried playing other stuff that's on the same drive, worked fine. Literally, just this game. Every driver is up to date, and required redistributables are installed as well.
I'm out of ideas, any help is appreciated.

Update:
After everything I tried, apparently my hard drive was faulty. Dying. Slowly but surely.
Bought new hard drive, managed to install and patch the game.
