Reave Elementalist need help

Hi everyone !

I'm currently playing a reave elementalist, he's currently 89, and I've never fought guardians, elders, I've just once done Atziri... So with this build I'd like to do this content, but I've noticed that I couldnt : I just died 5 min ago against hydra, my dmg seemed to be pretty low, and he os me. I got 4.6k life...

My question is : how can I get more dps pls ? You can check my PoB adn tell me. I only got 2 ascent points (I could take the third easely, but idk if conflux increase the dps or not).

By the way this is my only issue (doing the end game contents), I got a very decent clear and boss fights are more that easy.

Well first off, why are you not using you other 2 ascend points? Put it in inspirational if you think damage is the problem. But damage really isnt the problem. Reave is meant for AOE clear and not single target.

Second, get rid of the tabula for something with more life like a belly of the beast. 4.6k health is not much.

Third, your main hand weapon has nice AS but little damage. You want something that is almost 400 damage to make more use of your off hand stat stick.

4th. Why do you have another reave on your gloves? Change out reave to a red socket and put your herald of ash into your gloves so when you attack with reave from your chest and have the herald active, it will apply the curse on hit. I know the reave on your gloves has the vaal reave but the vaal version I found completely useless when I ran reave.

Im not expert at this game but thats just stuff I saw right off the bat.

that only works with herald of ice and thunder. Ash doesn't hit, so it can't curse on hit.

ok ty man, well I'd like to get another chest but I dont have a lot of currency, do you think a 5L is good ?

I don't speak about reave dmg ofc, I have enough AoE with elementalist, no ? Should I put inc AoE ? And I use BF as single target, that's why I want more dmg ;).

About the reave on gloves it's just because I had it before taking Vaal Reave after acts, so I just carried on leveling it. And my Assassin's mark is linked with Herald of ice, no need for herald of ash ;) (and I believe it doesnt work)

And what's inspirational ?

also I cant find a decent claw with 400 physical dmg on poe.trade, the best I found is this one :/
Oh and sry you saw reave on gloves because you loaded the page when I was in a boss fight, so Blade flury was on my chest and reave on gloves ;)

I'm guessing blazer572 got the wrong idea for which Ascendancy Class you took. Inspirational is a Champion ascendancy passive.

maybe i was looking at the wrong char...i only saw the champ char with reave

Yup I was looking at the wrong char and not the elementalist since i didnt see reave on that char so ignore what i said earlier lol.

okay np man it happens, so can you tell me what I should with the elementalist char to increase my dps ? I can do t15 guardians, but not the elder I think
