Desecrate interaction with Raise Zombie

Hi, I posted this in another forum but didn't get any replies. If I am using Desecrate only to provide corpses for Raise Zombie, the level of Desecrate will not effect the level/stats of the zombies, correct?

it's correct,only the Raise Zombie gem level effect the level/stats of the zombies
