SSF Player needs HELP!!!

Ok Folks I really need help here.

How do you guys do it.

I just leveled some gems to 20% Quality and my DPS has take a bit of a hit.
They are back up to level 8 or so after a map run or 2.

I have the syndicate Master mind boss coming up but with this new DPS drop it will be a fail, since I have not done it before either.

I still need 1 lab trail to go for Uber Lab, again with this new DPS it will fail.

I have run out of chance orbs and so no new maps for me if I find Zana.

Not to mention as well that Alva, Enhir, and Niko have not been much help either for me.

The crap unique drops I get from everything I have done is not helping either.

I am playing on XBOX not that it matters much.
I am playing Enki's Arc Witch and I am level 86 about half way to 87 since I just took a few deaths last night.

so what exactly is your question? also i'd hate to say it but dont bother with the mastermind you wont be able to kill it,even top players struggle with it

It is just in general how do you folks do it.
There is no SSF forum on here (There really should be.

As far as I can see there is no real general SSF guide on here either.


Lets start with maps then. (and yes I know of Karkav's Atlas SSF video but I find it hard to watch and understand and I find his written guide hard to read and understand)

I have all my t4's completed, I have some t5's now but not many.
A couple of t6's have dropped for me.

From what I have been told and kinda understand is to not do the next tier of maps until the previous tier is complete.

But the maps are not dropping for me and like I said I am out of chance orbs to buy more from Zana if I find her and complete her mission.

So what I need to go farm low gear to do the chance orb recipe.
Yes I have been picking up all the 6 links that drop but I am only at like 400 jeweler orbs or so.

I would like to save them for when I get some better gear.

i never played SSF before so i really dont know. even for non SSF players maps dont really drop so we have to buy them.

This is mostly due to expanding the drop pool every time you complete a map. Which can make that last one a bugger to get.

My current SSF character is missing Beach and it won't bloody drop.

Remember that Zana will offer missions at roughly the tier she spawns at, and she'll spawn at the tier of the last map you did before she does. So make sure you end a session on the tier you need to fill in.

Remember you can make use of the 3:1 conversion from vendors too. Sell 3 maps the same and you get back a higher tier one linked to the one you sold.

If you're playing SSF you can't rely on particular uniques, so you're just looking for things that drop with the right affixes to make your damage go up and have enough life.

This I did not know about.

So I have to make sure that before the Daily Reset I do a T5 map and she sell then sell and be in a tier 5 map. (Is this correct)

I do not want to trade up all my maps as I wont have the low maps to play and more.

Alch'ing the maps seems to help but not much. And I am starting to run low on these now as well.

45 t1
52 t2 (2 of these maps when traded in turn to excavation maps)
34 t3
27 t4
12 t5 (i am missing 4 of these)
5 t6

If you end on a tier 5 map, she'll be on a tier 4-6 map, and the missions she offers will usually within one tier of the map she spawns on.

The maps she sells don't seem to be affected.


I'm not sure you should alch every map you run if you're doing SSF. They're difficult to guarantee a supply of and useful for the crafting bench plus buying from Zana. Do it on yellows for the bonus or for special occasions.

Again I am just trying to understand this whole SSF thing.

I am doing it to force me to learn the game.

But a lot of this is gated behind RNG.

So as you said if I end on a t5 she can show on a t4 to t6.
She can also show up on maps I do not have yet, or ran out of.

Again RNG.

SSF I do not have enough scours to try and RNG chance orbs on unset rings or Sadist Garbs for Essence Worms and Inpusla's, not to mention the random drop of a clear mind.

Is there truly any SSF build not there that is not geared at all to any uniques drops.

Out of 884 unique items this game has, under 20% of them are wanted by folks for builds.

After that it is down to RNG to craft an item you want.

Oh right I can't craft 6 socket or 6 link items because it is gated behind RNG for the Prophecies I need to get to the area to unlock it.

Yeah, much more of SSF is about making use of what you do find, not aiming for specific things.

Rares with good affixes are your bread and butter, not chase uniques unless they happen to drop.

But I can't even get to the top end multi moding of gear because of the RNG behind the map and prophices need to get to it.

The more I talk about it the more I question why I am doing SSF.

But also to the fact why am I playing on xbox. Even if I do switch to Betrayal Trade league the gear I would like to get is way over priced on Xbox.

So it is just like playing in SSF but I have the chance to buy scours and chance orbs now if I want.
You find someone that is willing to help out with a item at a much cheaper rate.
