Hollow Fossil

I bought a rare item that chances into a unique for cheap. I paid an exalt to buy a hollow fossil to put a abyss socket on it. Put the socket in linked and colored the sockets. Zoned to someones H/O to buy a bunch of Scours came back the item was 2 socket again with no abyss socket. all happened within less then 2 minute from putting socket in.

Casue "Item has 1 Abyssal Socket" is an Explicit. The same happens when you corrupt stygian vise, it replaces it's abyssal socket implcit with something else.
If you scour or reroll the item it's obvious that it'll lose abyss socket.
