Map not showing up. (corner, or overlay) No textures.

Hello, the corner map, and the overlay map (tab) will only show me other in game characters. Attached are two screen shots. One showing the corner map, and one showing the overlay map. you will see the X for my character on the map, yet no textures of the surrounding land. I have tried tweaking/changing all of my graphics with no success.
