Help with my build? Poison Cyclone + HoA
I decided to go off-meta as I usually do with my first build of the league, but I'm also playing both evasion and Pathfinder for the first time. I'm fairly comfortable on most map bosses from just evasion tanking and leech, but I'm really struggling now when I get Incursion mechanics in particular, this is where I'm seriously feeling it as it just feels REALLY swingy with the crawler either just obliterating swathes of things, taking a few shots, or taking way too long on uniques/bosses. The time to kill on bosses is only a big deal on time-sensitive things like Legion or Incursion room bosses or the occasional breach encounter.
I'm starting to lose temple rooms in yellow maps and that feels pretty bad. Attached is a PoB pastebin, if anyone has any suggestions I could manage within 20-30 respec points or gear pointers, woo! If not, I'm already re-rolling some more surefire characters. https://pastebin.com/fds8ke9A Last bumped7 июля 2019 г., 22:40:48

Hey, I've been working on something similar this build off and on. I can't play cyclone cause I get motion sick tho so I've been messing around with blade storm. I haven't taken my build as high level as yours (only white maps), but I think I have some ideas for you.
First, if you look at my post history I talked with someone in the Scion forum about a similar build. She also posted on Reddit and someone theory crafted a decent build for her but you'll have to dig it up if you can. (Also I'm sick right now so my reply is lower effort then I'd like it to be.) I can't remember if she used HoA though. Second, look at Bobblybook's Herald of Agony guide. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2474628 They have great thoughts on scaling the agony crawler as the bottom of the skill gems section. Oh oh oh oh- they also talk about using convocation and supporting the agony crawler which might be useful. Finally, I think switching to another Pathfinder HoA build like https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2551841 for example is doable. Angry Roleplayer also has an extensive guide to Toxic Rain and HoA. Switch to bow may not be as big of a change as you think. I was able to stick a bow on my dual wield character and still run low level maps. Good luck! I think there's a build in there, but taking a break to roll reliable characters is not bad either. |
