My cyclone Shadow. Looking for advice. Blight League

This is my first ever forus post and im asking for help/ advice on how i can make my Cyclone Shadow better. Im an average player, meaning i still havnt beaten normal Shaper, i have tried im just not good enough or my build isnt up to it. anyway heres a pastebin to my current build.

Your build has good and bad things, which is inevitable if you're a beginner.
Sorry if I insist on bad things, but the goal is to improve it.

You have a life/ES build, which is kind of difficult when you begin in this game.
I'd remove Ghost Reaver, because leeching life is too essential.

I'd change a part of your tree.

Stuff

The Vulconus dagger is not suitable for your build. On the paper, it looks good, but it's difficult to actually use it.
Try to get Bino's Kitchen Butcher Knife or Taproot. It will feel much much better.

Gloves are fun because of Rampage. But you should get Tombfist and put an abyssal jewel in it : this way, it will synergize with your belt and boots.

Gems

Don't try to use too much skills. Cyclone is already the #1 do-it-all skill of PoE. Keep Whirling Blades if you want, but maybe not Frostblink, which is a bit clunky to use.

CwDt + Cold Snap is nice, I have used it myself. But you need CwDT + Immortal Call (keep both gems at low levels), it will save your life more often than not.

As you play Assassin with Mistwalker ascendancy, you absolutely need two gems : Nightblade support on the Cyclone setup. Put it instead of Conc Effect for instance.
And you need Withering Steps as secondary skills.

Try these and it should be much better.

tyvm for your advice. I really appreciate your input. i am a long term but still newish player. i have only just beaten the shaper for the first time ever! i used this toon to do it. Here is my final build as of the end of Blight league.

Vulconus is a very unusual and underused dagger afaik.
Generally, bleed builds and fire builds are two very different things.

The problem is you lose a lot of DPS against bosses and Shaper while you have Avatar of Fire, because they have elem res.

Also, I have suggested some changes to the south part of your tree to raise DPS and life.
