Help With My Necromancer

Hi All!

I've been playing about two weeks. There's so much happening in this game! I keep figuring new things out. I'm trying to figure out how to "upgrade" my necromancer, but I think I'm just too new to truly figure it out myself. I'm thinking gear and/or resistances are what I need to improve, but I'm just not sure. I changed out the body armor (Kaom's Heart) for another with more resistance, and survivability is better, but I'm still not happy. Should I try and craft (still confusing to me) or should I trade with someone online for the gear?
