how does the "mirroring" work ?

duplicates an item.
can only mirror the orignal item, cannot mirror a mirrored item the sockets are the same as the ones on the original and unchangeable(color,sockets, and links) you cannot change the stats of the mirrored item Mhmmm...

and i'm guessing it's extreeeeemly rare to find , right ? basically , with that you can get any item in the game ( with the kindness of others to help you - btw , is there any charge of doing that ? ).
