Remove golems and roahs and increase drop rates.
I have no idea why this hasn't been done yet. You know that golems and roahs desync like crazy, it is completely asinine to keep them in game as is. At the very least remove their roll until you fix desync. I never understood the logic behind putting annoying enemies that no one likes to fight without offsetting it by making their loot tables more lucrative. Every time I see a pack of golems I just try to skip it, they are completely not worth the effort.
Also, drop rates need tweaked for rares and unique mobs. Another friend outright quit last night during a map that he died twice to golem desyncs, then had a rare mob that we killed drop a single white item. Well it wasn't at that point, it was the next rare mob that took forever to kill and dropped ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We were both speechless. If it overpowers IIQ and IIR then tweak the formula to make drops from rare an unique mobs slightly more consistent with low IIQ and IIR, and lessen the effect for a large amount. Not everyone can afford to run high IIQ and IIR, even though I have around 100 70 IIQ and 40 IIR when those mobs dropped absolutely dick. Unique mobs should always drop at least 1 rare. Just some helpful suggestions, I've had numerous people already quit because of the atrocious drop rates in this game, so I'd like to see the game not die to such an easily fixed thing. Drop rates without IIQ/IIR are extremely shitty. Stack IIQ/IIR if you want drops. Thats is this game made. Its bad, lazy design but who cares lol.
You can also multibox - PoE is starting to reward you for play when you multibox. Последняя редакция: KarraKurri#7943. Время: 25 мар. 2013 г., 22:49:12

" They just nerfed multiboxing in the last patch. Unless you can keep your multiboxes all within a screen from the killing. |

" I can barely kill stuff and survive as is, stacking iiq and iir is not feasible. I have iiq gem linked to my main kill attack, but that is all I can do besides a little bit on rings etc. |

So my little friend you will be fucked in the ass by this game over and over an over.
sorry for harsh words but its true. You want game with titem hunt where items and currency actually drops i recommend playing Torchlight 2 or Titan Quest (no shitty Magic Find mechanic at all). Ofc you can play cookie cutter build and stack IIQ 100/IIR 300... its because POE promotes build diversity lol. Последняя редакция: KarraKurri#7943. Время: 26 мар. 2013 г., 00:05:08

" Don't listen to the negative nancy. It's not required by any means. Found a lioneye w/ practically none. Think I have around 20/35 right now. That's just w/e I got on my main gear. Does it help? yes. Is it required? no. But then again, this is not an MMO. Many people will build farming characters for the sake of acquiring odd gear, or amazing gear/uniques for different builds they have in mind. It is entirely possible to play all the way into maps w/o any MF on. You just wont get as many drops, and you will have a hard time funding any other (exotic) characters you wish to create. |

The whole point of my post was just to give some feedback to the devs on things that are making them lose customers in droves. Many of my friends started playing, only one remains, and they all left pretty much for the reasons I described. I can honestly see no reason why some changes shouldn't be made in regards to golems, rhoas, and drop rates. It would not make the game easy mode to ensure that a unique never drops absolute garbage. I'm not saying 3 rares or anything, but at least 1 rare is absolutely acceptable and won't break the economy. Also, helping the already poor who can't afford to run IIQ and IIR by boosting their drop rates just a bit won't hurt. Just tonight the 1 friend left who plays and I ran a rather large map, had at least 5 packs of blue mobs, 3 rares, and a unique, and we walked out after the full clear with 2 rares between us. That just makes people not want to play anymore, take the feedback as you will.

I agree that drops from rare/ uniques can be unsatisfying.
I'm not even suggesting at least 1 rare/ rare monster. Magical items would be enough, or some orbs (alteration, transmutation, not even the really high ones). Some rares with insane live regeneration take ages to kill, and when they finally drop dead it is quite underwhelming if only some white stuff is the result. All in all, though, I can't complain about drops in general. I'd like to find a unique some of these days, though. Bird lover of Wraeclast

[/quote] Ok now you found something usefull and if nothing drops for weeks on end you will still claim drops are ok. Drops simply are not ok. I've run countless of maps lvl 70+ with IR and IQ on it, adn i'm still playing with items i've found before lvl 50 or bought. It is Diablo 3 all over again. An example i've found these gloves at lvl 20 . Still at lvl 80 I didn't see anything remotely better yet. Последняя редакция: bowmore17#6874. Время: 26 мар. 2013 г., 03:24:04

" Alch some of those ilvl 70-72 white gloves you might have found in maps... common, yes, drops are crap, yes, the RNG is actually the culprit, but meanwhile, until something (if ever) is done, nobody stops you from trying to roll some better item. Trust me, you'll get something decent, with probably less than 15 Chaos orbs. Or RNG will screw you and you'll waste the orbs :) So it might be better to hit the forums and get a pair of gloves that you like... there are good but not great items with just a few chaos orbs... placeholder for creative sig
