No way to rejoin party after crashing

If you crash while playing in a party, there is no way to rejoin them. You are automatically removed from the party and all chats including whispers are wiped. The on,y way is to somehow remember what their username was or hope that they happen to glance at global chat and see your message. Not to mention as you as you crash they get to take all your loot.
