Someone can please explain me how 'Numlock trick' works??

Hi, first time doing a miner build and heard there's some kind of numlock trick that auto-detonate the mines and put them at your feet, but I have no idea how to do that lol

tried to find some tutorials but it didn't seem to work for me =(

the attack in place option wasn't suppose to place mines at my feet? while holding shift(my 'attack in place' button) it places where my mouse is pointing, the same without holding shift, so I have no idea what's that attack in place for TBH..

it was a feature for times before they added option on skil for Attack in place. Now we dont need this trick and also mined changed so we throw them and not place under feet. So jsut forget about it

that and to my knowledge instead of spamming detonate ive read people put it on the left mouse click for moving a nd it will detonate just by holding while you throw it
