Unable to Have Carnage and Host Chieftain Simultaneously as Spectres

I've been playing a carrion golem build, and for the entire duration of the character i've been using a carnage chieftain, a host chieftain, an arena master, and a they of tul. Today, all of a sudden, i noticed i wasn't getting both power and frenzy charges, only power charges, even though i haven't changed my spectres at all. Since both chieftains look identical i couldn't tell if i accidentally had a duplicate host chieftain summoned. I went back to my hideout, desecrated a few times, and noticed that a carnage chieftain wasn't in the corpse pool. I then went to the ashen fields and found a carnage chieftain to summon, and then promptly killed/summoned it, or atleast i tried to anyways. When i targeted it's corpse and summoned the carnage chieftain, it summoned some other random minion instead. I went back to my hideout to see if both chieftains were in my corpse pool, and surely enough they were, but when i try to have a copy of each, the second chieftain i try to summon just turns into some other random mob. Has this happened to anyone else before?

are you using Corpse Targeting(A) to make sure your highlighting the Chieftain and not a diff mob?

I see you said targeted but not sure if u used Corpse Targeting feature.

Yes, I'm using corpse targeting. It's not just these two chieftains, it's just raising spectres for me in general. I target a specific corpse and an entirely different mob in my corpse pool gets summoned, very frustrating. I've been able to get the right spectre setup again (host, carnage chieftain, they of tul, arena master) but it's taken a lot of time and fiddling with raise spectre. Can't really find any rhyme or reason to what's going on.

Make sure you don't have spell echo as well as have +1 to max spectre
